Steve Kushner, MS, LPC

Chief Clinical Officer

Steven obtained his Associate Degree from Montgomery County Community College and his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Temple University. After reaching his bachelor’s degree, he attended Chestnut Hill College to obtain his master’s degree in counseling and Clinical Psychology. Since 2009, Steven has served members of the recovery community through his work in the field. He became a full-time therapist in 2013 and worked as a DBT therapist in 2015. Steven has worked in community mental health, inpatient residential, outpatient and drug court. Steven brings a wealth of experience with Dialectical approach and intergeneration of the 12 step philosophy to Sobriety Solutions.

RACHEL GARBER, MS, CAADC, LPC

Rachel began her career in the addiction field working as an inpatient counselor in 2015. She earned a Master's of Science degree in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from Chestnut Hill College in 2019. Rachel worked as a primary therapist and enjoyed treating individuals with co-occurring disorders.  Rachel obtained an advanced drug and alcohol certification (CAADC) in January 2022. She recently became licensed to practice professional counseling in the state of Pennsylvania. Rachel is very person-centered, tailoring treatment to the unique needs of each individual. Rachel utilizes psychodynamic, CBT, ACT and mindfulness-based interventions. Rachel also incorporates 12-step principles into her practice. She is passionate about helping others recover from addiction and live to their fullest potential.

Stuart Weinstein

Primary Therapist
Sobriety Solutions of New Jersey

Stuart is a pre-licensed Therapist with a master’s degree in Addiction Counseling and a post graduate certification in trauma therapy from Grand Canyon University. Stuart is also a certified yoga instructor and certified in yoga for trauma and addiction with over 21 years of experience. Stuart has spent the last 8 years working in the Substance abuse and mental health field. He has worked in both inpatient and outpatient facilities as well an in-home traveling therapist. Stuart has worked with and helped clients of all ages including children, adolescents, and adults struggling with substance abuse, co-occurring disorders, trauma, autism, relationships and body images. Stuart’s clinical skill set, and theoretical approaches include Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Motivational interviewing and Dialectal Behavioral therapies, however, he tends to tailor his therapeutic approach to what suits the client the best. Megan Drury, LSW

Primary Therapist

Megan holds a Master’s in Social Work and is working towards becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Megan received her bachelor’s in psychology from the College of Charleston in 2018, and her master’s from West Chester University of PA in 2022. Megan began her career working with adolescents and young adults with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders in Philadelphia – both in IOP and inpatient levels of care. Megan is passionate about providing therapy to individuals and groups in a trauma-informed manner, meeting the client where they are at in terms of recovery and mental health. Megan utilizes components of CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing based on the needs of each individual client. Megan believes that therapy is a collaborative process and aims to empower clients to identify and harness their strengths to help themselves achieve their goals.
